Volunteer
Training • The Brgy. Emergency Response Team Course consists of competencies that a person must achieve to perform: – Basic life support – Maintain life support equipment and resources – Implement safe access and extrication procedures in an emergency – Manage the scene of an emergency – Deliver pre-hospital patient care – Deliver intensive pre-hospital patient care – Manage ambulance operations – Transport emergency and non-emergency patients
• Course duration approximately four months – Approximately 120 hours of classroom instruction • Additional hours volunteering at the Hospital or Brgy Health Center during the course • After initial volunteer training, continuous ongoing training is conducted weekly Entry
Requirements
• 16 years old and above • Can communicate effectively both orally and in written form • Physically, emotionally and psychologically fit • Can perform basic mathematical computations Special Training for Circumcision At Ruben Minimo's house in Longos. Ruben's parents provided the lunch and snacks. We had 34 patients circumcised. BERT Members are Certified in CPR and First Aid BERT
