•      The Brgy. Emergency Response Team Course consists of competencies that a person must achieve to perform:

–        Basic life support

–        Maintain life support equipment and resources

–        Implement safe  access and extrication procedures in an emergency

–        Manage the scene of an emergency

–        Deliver pre-hospital patient care

–        Deliver intensive pre-hospital patient care

–        Manage ambulance operations

–        Transport emergency and non-emergency patients

•          Course duration approximately four months

–        Approximately 120 hours of classroom instruction

•          Additional hours volunteering at the Hospital or Brgy Health Center during the course

•          After initial volunteer training, continuous ongoing training is conducted weekly
